Katie Andersen is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and a Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC) She has spent over 10 years in mental health and addiction industry. Katie graduated from Aurora University with a Master’s degree in Social Work. Her passion for athletics and wellness led her to work in collegiate athletics and coaching prior to entering into the mental health and addiction field. The presence of addiction within her own family system motivates her to continue educating families about the disease of addiction. Her goal is to coach families to understand that recovery is possible and they can calm the noise and chaos of their loved ones addiction.

I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, and with loved ones who have been impacted by a loved ones substance use and mental health. I am an intensively trained DBT therapist. I am currently a Somatic Experiencing Student in training Level II. I have been in the industry since 2002.

I am a person in long-term recovery from Substance Use Disorder. Addiction is a family disease that requires a commitment to change for overall health and wellbeing. I believe the same can be said for all mental health disorders. Being a person in long-term recovery I understand that recovery is a process and the help of others is needed. It is my job to support, encourage, and empower individuals on their journeys with love, respect, and understanding.
Sherri Bennett, MA, CRC
I have been working with individuals with the disease of addiction and their families in various settings for over 25 years. My areas of expertise are thorough assessment with the ability to match each individual to specific treatment options, community outreach, family therapy, and continuing of family care. I have a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling am a Certified Counselor and a trained family therapist. Special training with co-occurring disorders / mental health disabilities.

Bobby Brazell
Bobby Brazell is a person in long-term recovery from heroin/opiate addiction. He is CPSS, Recovery Coach, Family Recovery Coach, CAI and is Executive Director of Midlands Recovery Center. After more than 20 years in active addiction, he has a very strong recovery message that he shares with others who struggle with SUD and OUD. He is a consultant with USC School of Medicine and helped form the Inpatient Addictions Consult Team within the Prisma Health system, to engage patients with recovery services.
