Allison Basham, LPC, SEP, DBT, CPCS, CAI

Allison is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), an Intensively Trained DBT Therapist, a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS), and a Certified ARISE Interventionist (CAI).

She works with individuals and families who have been impacted by substance use disorders and mental health concerns. She is the founder of Recovery Inside Out and offers Intervention, Consulting, Counseling, and Care Management services for mental health and substance use concerns. Allison has worked in the addiction and behavioral health field for over 20 years and specializes in substance use disorders, mental health, and trauma. She works with individuals, couples, and families. She is able to provide support no matter where families are in the process.

Allison earned her BS degree in Psychology and a minor in Criminology from Kennesaw State University in 2003. In 2005, she earned her Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling with a Concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University, Atlanta. She has worked in Residential Treatment, Intensive Outpatient, and Private Practice. My hope for any family I work with is not only to support the person of concern, it is to facilitate change for the whole family for years to come.
