WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT FAMILY OF ORIGIN

Dr. Judith Landau’s “Family of Origin” training gave me skills, knowledge and resources I draw on everyday. The depth and specific information is both relevant and helpful. Anyone who has family healing as a goal should take advantage of this opportunity. The universal view you receive in this training is a rare gift. I strongly encourage anyone can — do not miss this!
— Brian O'Shea, CAI
The “Family of Origin” course gave me personal insight into my own family genealogy in an intimate setting. It is because of this experience that I am now equipped to apply the insight and education I gained about Family of Origin with my clients.
— Holly Carroll, CAC, CAI, NCRC-1, NCIP
The Family of Origin training was eye opening! Once I was able to have more of a handle on my own family dynamics, stories, patterns, strengths, I have been able to better navigate the families that I work with and help them to see their own connections. The training was very helpful in keeping me honest with myself and to recognize where transference may present itself due to my own family story.
— Andrea Rand, CAI
Before taking Judith’s “Family of Origin” course, I knew first hand the family played a role in addiction, but had questions about specific details in the intergenerational transmission from family to family. I was rewarded with a wealth of knowledge that has been beneficial not only with interventions, individual and family therapy, but with my own life situation. Every participant had the opportunity to do their own family genogram and hear Judith’s questions, continual positive reframing, and preliminary assessment. With the vast advances in trauma since 2008-9 when I took the course, I look forward to hearing how she ties these together today. Look forward to seeing you there!
— Jeff Jones, LPC, CACIII, CAI
